The DLC consists of two extra locations to explore where you\u2019ll find new events and treasures as well as some awesome new mechanics such as the campfire. The campfire is by far my favourite new feature of the game and for me not only does it add a lot of replayability, but the backstories and campfire cards also give you more of a reason to play again. Once you\u2019ve visited a few location on an island you\u2019ll be able to use the campfire (it can only be used once per island). When you use the campfire you\u2019ll be able to select one from four random cards from your available cards. The remaining cards can be kept for your next campfire stop or discarded if it\u2019s not something you want or need. Cards can range from adding things like gold or research to giving your characters backstories or allowing them to interact with each other. You can forge friendships or make enemies depending on which you select giving your crew a little more personality than just their skills. After each run you\u2019ll receive new packs with new cards depending on how well you did on that run and these cards will carry over to your next run.Another huge feature is the ability to pick your rewards on occasion so instead of being stuck with gold when you are doing a research run you have a little more chance of getting what you need. Some rewards even stack with your explorers traits making runs a little more fruitful than they used to be. If you\u2019re not sure what to pick there's also a handy little feature where one will be recommended for you though you\u2019re not forced to pick it.The two new locations added the the game consist of the Andean Adventure and The Lost Island both of which are unique in terms of rewards, treasures and events. Though I would have liked to see more locations the two new ones do add more than enough and it\u2019s just my own personal love for the game making me want more. Instead of feeling like features were removed from the original game to be sold later for an extra cost, RE: MTE adds great EXTRA content and makes me actually hope for more future DLC. If you know me you know it\u2019s very hard to convince me to buy when it comes to spending more money on a game i\u2019ve already purchased but this is well worth it and had renewed my passion for the game. I grabbed the DLC at 20% off but even at full price it\u2019s a steal.. Very good expansion. When I first got this game (Humble Monthly), I played it through once before seeing that there was an expansion on the way, and then I waited until it was out to play it again.I\\'m glad I did. It\\'s a major improvement that is completely worth the asking price ($6.74 at launch, will be raised to $7.50 on June 7th, still worth it). A little bit of agency with regard to the treasures makes them feel far more rewarding and interesting, and the campfire stories are interesting, even if I haven\\'t really dealt with them enough to say just how interesting. It also adds More to Explore, so that\\'s cool. My first run after the expansion didn\\'t involve those locations, though, so I can\\'t comment on if that explorable more is all that great or not.. More to explore brings more to renowned explorers. You get to see 2 new places, visit the inca's and the island, with all new mysteries to unravel. The campfires is fun addition as well. It reacts different with the different characters, so also there is a lot more to explore. I have tested Beta for this, and bought it today. Way to go Abbey!!!. The campfire mechanic adds the depth to RE:IS is missed sometimes, and that for a more than fair price tag. Definetly made me love this game even more!. Nice addition to an already great game.Adds more variety to the core game, giving additional reason to come back. In exploration games you'll always want to discover more. Eventually (about 100 hours for me) you'll have only a couple things you haven't seen and they become increasingly harder to get to. I like that challenge, but the DLC makes it easier to come back and taste new flavours. Liked the game before, not going to change, now it gets some more mileage.A huge plus on this game is the dev support, adding a free DLC beforehand, holiday extras and forum challenges. Just for that I would have bought this DLC. I feel they have earned my money.. Absolutely fantastic game. A great blend of strategy and boardgame-like play. I really enjoy the fact that you can play through an entire campaign in a few hours, and then start again wtih a completely different crew. I've been having a blast.. A really good expansion, and the (actually cheap) price is really worth it. You get two new adventures, but the more important part for me is the two new gameplay addition.First is, now you choose effect from treasures from some choices, before each treasures just give you specific effects. The choices depends on treasure type, region, and some choices are specific from the treasure itself. This will give you more choices on your gameplay strategy onward.And second is, there\\'s campfire story. In each adventures your adventurers can tell campfire stories, and the effect is that you draw 4 campfire cards from your deck, and you choose one card, each card give different things. It might be simple +8 collect for example, or it might actually something specific to characters. For example there\\'s card about how one of the adventurers is infatuated to Maria, or Hattice teach another adventurer how to make money. And the effect varies more. Like, engineers get +3 attack for the rest of the campaign, or you get 20% more renown from researchs, things like that.And how you get new cards to fill your deck is by finishing a whole campaignNow there\\'s actual reward to replay the game again and again, and it really add replay value, if you\\'re into collecting stuffs.
